The big brother of the small spider, the large spider is all about scale
Taking design cues from mid century modernism,  eight boomerang shaped pieces are joint together to form a seamless ellipsoidal framework which forms the base of this lamp. Intricate wooden joinery is employed to achieve this complex yet harmonious form. The lamp shade with its cylindrical shape sits high on an epoxy coated steel rod to uniformly light up a room with a soft glow.
