Original Mid Century redesigned

The shell of this original mid century vitrine was found in an old furniture shop in Mumbai. It was subsequently restored, and we decided to add an element of playfulness to it. Using our bits of scrap wood, we created a pattern using the typical lines of mid century modernism, that also cleverly work as handles at varying heights. The back panel is also painted in an eye soothing blue that offsets against the warm glow of the teak.
